Itinerary:
🚗 6:00 AM – Pick-up from Your Location in Muscat
Our experienced guides will pick you up from your location in Muscat. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Jabal Shams in air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles, fully equipped for off-road travel.
🏕️ 9:30 AM – Arrival at Jabal Shams, Start of Adventure
Arrive at Oman’s Grand Canyon, where the adventure begins. Embark on an exciting hike along the famous Balcony Walk. Traverse along rocky ridges, steep cliffs, and narrow ledges, offering some of the best panoramic views in Oman.
🧘11:30 AM – Secret Lake & Refreshing Break
Discover a hidden gem deep within the canyon -a stunning mountain lake surrounded by towering cliffs. Take a refreshing dip and soak in the untouched beauty of the canyon. Enjoy light snacks with scenic canyon views. Take some time to relax and rehydrate before the return journey.
🥾 12:30 PM – Return Hike to Starting Point
Retrace your steps back along the Balcony Walk Beginning, experiencing the breathtaking scenery from a new perspective.
🍽️ 3:30 PM – Post-Adventure Lunch in Al Hamra
On our way back, we stop at a local Restaurant for a well-deserved delicious lunch.
🚙 4:30 PM – Departure for Muscat
Freshen up and prepare for the journey back to Muscat, reflecting on an unforgettable hiking experience.
🏠 8:00 PM – Drop-off at Your Location in Muscat
Arrive back in Muscat, marking the end of an epic adventure at Jabal Shams!

Terrain & Climbing: Participants should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain and engaging in light climbing during the tour.
Wildlife Awareness: As this tour takes place in nature, encounters with insects, lizards, goats during the hike are possible. Participants should not have a fear of these animals.
