Embark on a thrilling journey to Tahery Cave, one of Oman's most impressive natural wonders. Located on the Salmah Plateau in the Eastern Hajar Mountains, this adventure offers a unique blend of hiking and caving, culminating in the exploration of the mesmerizing Crystal Chamber.

Itinerary:
🚙 6:00 AM – Pick-up from Your Location in Muscat
Our expert guides will pick you up for an exciting day of hiking, via ferrata, climbing, and abseiling. Enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive through the rugged Eastern Hajar Mountains to the adventure’s starting point.
🥾 8:00 AM – Arrival & Gear-Up
At the trailhead, receive a safety briefing, check your harness, helmet, and climbing gear, and get ready for the adventure ahead.
🚶♂️ 8:30 AM – Start of the Hike
Begin your challenging 2-hour hike across rocky mountain terrain, gradually ascending toward the cave entrance. The trail offers steep sections and breathtaking views of Oman’s wild landscapes.
🕳️ 10:30 AM – Entering Tahery Cave
Switch on your headlamps and venture into the cave’s dark, mystical chambers. Navigate via ferrata sections and climb through tight passages and rock formations as you make your way deeper underground.
💎 12:30 PM – Arrival at the Crystal Chamber
Reach the stunning Crystal Chamber, where shimmering formations illuminate the cave’s walls. Take a break, capture breathtaking photos, and admire the surreal underground scenery.
🧗♂️ 1:00 PM – Return Journey & 20m Abseil Exit
Begin the return journey through the cave, but instead of climbing out, descend via an exciting 20m abseil back to the cave entrance.
🥾 2:00 PM – Hiking Back to the Start Point
Retrace your steps along the same mountain trail, making your way back through the rugged landscape.
🚙 4:00 PM – Departure for Muscat
After a challenging and rewarding adventure, relax on the drive back, reflecting on the epic experience.
🏠 6:00 PM – Drop-off at Your Location in Muscat
Arrive back in Muscat, marking the end of an incredible cave expedition.
Important Notes:
Technical Terrain: This adventure involves steep mountain trails, via ferrata sections, and climbing inside the cave. Participants must be comfortable navigating rocky terrain and using climbing equipment.
Abseiling Requirement: The return journey includes a 20m abseil. A basic understanding of rope techniques is recommended, but guidance will be provided. Participants must not have a severe fear of heights.
Fitness Level: This trip requires good physical endurance. The total hike is 18km (both ways) and takes around 10 hours, including ascents, descents, and technical climbing.
